His Royal Highness The Emir of Damaturu, Alhaji Shehu Hashimi II Ibn Umar El-Kanemi earned a Diploma in Accounting and Auditing in 1988 from Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri, and an advanced diploma from Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi in 2002.
He worked as cashier with an agro company in Damaturu from 1983-1987, then worked for Damaturu Local Government as an accountant.
After Yobe State was created 1991, he transferred to the state government and by 1996 was Director of Finance and Supply in the Governor’s Office. In 2000 his brother appointed him District Head of Damaturu
In November 2003 the Yobe State Governor, Bukar Ibrahim, approved the appointment of Baba Shehu Hashimi II Ibn Umar El-Kanemi as Shehu (Emir) of Damaturu.
Hashimi II El-Kanemi was appointed Emir of Damaturu on 15 May 2004. He succeeded his brother Alhaji Bukar Ibn Elkanemi, who had died in Mecca the previous year
The Damaturu Emirate is a Nigerian traditional state based in Damaturu, the capital of Yobe State, Nigeria. It is a first-class emirate.
At one time the Damaturu Emirate was part of the Ngazaragamo emirate, which is based in Gaidam and extended as far as Chad to the east and Niger to the north.

Joseph Nyumah Boakai Sr. (born 30 November 1944) is a Liberian politician who served as Vice President of Liberia from 2006 to 2018, serving under President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. Previously he was Minister of Agriculture from 1983 to 1985.
Personal life
Joseph Boakai was born in the remote village of Worsonga in Foya District, Lofa County, on 30 November 1944. He is married to Kartumu Boakai and they have four children.[2] Boakai is a Baptist and a deacon of the Effort Baptist Church
In the Civic and Self-Help sector, as part of his philanthropic support to humanity, Hon. Boakai supervised and personally financed up to 75% a 7-mile rural village road construction to Warsonga, Liberia. He worked with the Federation of Liberian Youth (FLY) and the Danish Youth to construct a school for 150 students and clinic for a community of 10 villages. He influenced the erection of OIC project in Foya Kama, Liberia, organized and headed fund raising for rural electrification of Foya Kama in Lofa County, Northern Liberia
As a result of his vast knowledge in the social sciences, the Honorable Vice President offered short term consultancy to a number of institutions including serving as Chief Technical Advisor on Agriculture Policy, Ministry of Agriculture He reviewed and evaluated the Liberian 1986 proposed Green Revolution and FAO World Bank 1986 Agricultural sector Review Document and evaluated AMSCO, Amsterdam Funded training program for projects in Uganda in 1994 and Tanzania in 1996.
He is the owner of LUSU Resource Corporation and co-owner of AGROMACHINES Liberia.
Hon. Boakai served as member and chairman of many boards including chairman-Liberia Finance and Trust Corporation, chairman of the board of Star Radio, member of the board of LOIC, member of the board of the Liberia Baptist Theological Seminary, founding member of Bethesda Christian Mission, founding organizer-African Methodist Episcopal University, founding organizer of the C.W.A. Methodist University and Ambassador of the Liberia YMCA, President of LUSU Resource Corporation and Ex-President of the Monrovia Rotary Club.
He is President of the Liberian Senate and he presides two days a week over plenary sessions of that body. He performs supervisory functions over a number of institutions and agencies including the Liberia National Lotteries (LOTTO), the Liberia Marketing Association (LMA), the Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE), and the National Commission on Disarmament Demobilization Resettlement and Reintegration (NCDDRR).
Education
Boakai attended primary and high school in Sierra Leone and Liberia before graduating from the College of West Africa, the University of Liberia in 1972 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration
Political career
Boakai went on to jobs in both the public and private sector. He worked as a resident manager (1973–1980) and managing director (1980–1982) for the Liberia Produce Marketing Corporation (LPMC) From 1983 to 1985, he served as Minister of Agriculture under President Samuel Doe.[9] While Minister of Agriculture, Boakai chaired the 15 nation West African Rice Development Association. In 1992, he was the managing director of the Liberia Petroleum Refinery Company (LPRC). He later worked as a consultant to the World Bank in Washington and also founded a firm dealing in agricultural equipment and consultancy. He has served as board chairman of the Liberia Wood Management Corporation and of the Liberia Petroleum Refining Company. He announced his intention to run for the Liberian presidency which was scheduled for 10 October 2017. He is viewed by many as a safe and uncorrupt candidate.
During the first round of the 2017 presidential and representatives elections where none of the candidates who contested was able to obtain 50% +1 votes to become the country’s next president, president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf stated on several occasions that she was supporting her vice president.
After the first round, she openly said that she is not supporting either of the two candidates who made it to the run-off. But she was seen on 21 December 2017 with George Weah at a groundbreaking ceremony for a road that is leading to the home of his rival, the vice president Joseph N. Boakai. Said act was harshly received by some Liberians, mainly members of the ruling Unity Party. They considered the president’s action as campaigning for Weah. After the photos flooded social media, President Sirleaf clarified on the same day: “I have told the AU that I am neither supporting Senator Weah nor Vice President Boakai, although it’s my right to support either of them in the run-off. I never knew the protocol of the program until I reached to the program. When I got there I saw Senator Jewel Howard Taylor and Senator Weah, I couldn’t tell the both senators to leave because they are both sitting senators. It was senator Jewel Howard Taylor that gave the shovel to senator Weah, at which time my head was bent down. So it was difficult for me to identify the person holding the shovel. But however, I regret that the Vice President wasn’t there, this is his road and he was needed to be here.”
When Boakai was asked if he was invited or not, he said that he was never invited by the president for the both of them to carry out the groundbreaking ceremony for the road that leads to his home in Lofa County
When the vice president appeared on the Coasta Show, he said one of the reasons for which the president doesn’t want to support him is his alignment with Wilmot Paye who is the chairman of the party and also Senator Varney G. Sherma
Mr. Boakai, regardless of being defeated by former football legend, George M. Weah, in the run-off of the 2017 presidential and representatives elections he paid an appreciation visit to his county, Lofa.
During his visit, he appreciated his people and urged them to work with the new government. “The purpose of my visit here is to appreciate my people for showing the high level of love and dedication…ensuring that we were successful in the process, because they did what they committed themselves to do by voting in their numbers
The election has ended, he said, and there is a new government that will continue the work from where the Unity Party led government will stop. “I ask that we all rally around this new administration to bring the desired developments that we all want. We should all know that Liberia has won so let us support each other.

Professor Ezendu Ariwa is a Fellow of British Computer Society (FBCS) and Chair of IEEE Consumer Technology & Broadcast Technology Chapter, UK and Ireland. He holds the post of Postgraduate Research Supervision at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, London campus, UK and previously held the role of Academic Supervision at Warwick University, UK and also co-ordinating international research and Director of Studies for doctoral research project supervision. He has excellent research project supervision and curriculum development records and completion rates including External Examination roles in the UK and internationally. He also undertakes international research and sponsored consultancy projects including Executive Training Workshops for top Government Executives. Born to the union of Prof. and Mrs. Mogana S. Flomo, Sr. on February 13, 1976, in Jorwah, Panta District, Bong County, Republic of Liberia. Dr. Mogana S. Flomo, Jr. is the Founder of the Center for Environmental and Public Health Research (CEPRES) Inc. and CEPRES International University (http://cepres.email/) in Liberia. Dr. Flomo is an Educator with more than 20 years’ experience in teaching at various universities in Liberia, including Cuttington University as a lecturer of Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics; Bong County Technical College, CEPRES International University, etc. Dr. Flomo is the immediate Former Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Liberia, and also the Founder of the Liberia Commodities and Smallholder Farmers Empowerment Enterprise (LICSFEE), Inc., a national agricultural enterprise contributing to Food and Nutrition Security in Liberia.

Born on the 29th of May 1966 at Sapele in the present-day Delta State, Nigeria hails from Ute Ogbeje. Dr. Sir Simon Nwafor attended Igwebuike Primary School, Ute Ogbeje, Delta State, Nigeria between 1973 and 1979. However, as a young vibrant boy who, out of the advice and tutelage of his late father, Apostle Nwafor Omeife proceeded to Owerre Olubor Secondary School from 1979 to 1984 where he sat for his West African School Certificate Examinations and Stage 11 (O//L) Certificate of Institute of Commerce of London both in 1984.
In his quest for professionalism, he was admitted for a two-year diploma course in marketing management at the Institute of Professional Management, Agbor, Nigeria in 1984 and graduated in 1986. He also enrolled for a professional course in marketing from the Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria, and later the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Berkshire, England, United Kingdom and graduated in 1990.
He also attended Opencast Polytechnic, Auchi; an affiliate of Ambrose Alli University, Edo State and obtained his Higher National Diploma in marketing with “Distinction” in 1990. The young Simon who is never satisfied with education and knowledge acquisition later continued his academic pursuit with the Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria for his Postgraduate Diploma programme in Marketing and Commercial Administration and graduated in 1993 and 2001 respectively.
Dr. Sir Simon Nwafor later attended the Africa International Institute for Professional Training and Research, USA for a Postgraduate Diploma course in Human Resource Management, and came out in a flying colour in 2012. This development was borne out of his professional calling; he has identified himself as a trainee/educator, human resource personnel/consultant, thus the quest to get acquainted with the principles of human resource management. And in 2013, he was briefly at Adam Smith University, USA, but later transferred to West Coast University, Panama, USA for his Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Human Resource Management where he graduated in 2014.
Not satisfy with his academic pursuit, and in his humbled nature; trying to actualise his innate desire to get to the peak in academics in 2015, went to City University, Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia for a Doctorate degree programme in Human Resource Management, and graduated in 2018, with a dissertation on the “Influence of Leadership on Organisational Efficiency”. He also has a Bachelor of Education (B’Ed) degree; specialising in Educational Management from CLU. Also, he got his Bachelor of Science (B. Sc, Hons) degree in Human Resource Management from ISM University, Adonai, Cotonou in the Republic of Benin (2019).
However, attaining success in education and life got Dr. Sir, Simon Nwafor to crossed so many turbulent waters in a quest to being educated; he has sacrificed leisure, pleasures, but through friends; mostly academics got to where he is today. He believes strongly in Earl Nightingale assertion that “Success is the progressive realisation of a worthy ideal. And, total success therefore, is the continuing involvement in the pursuit of a worthy ideal, which is being realised for the benefits of others rather than at their expense”. This remark by Earl Nightingale keep encouraging Dr. Sir, Simon to press forwards towards his goals in life.
Work experiences
Dr. Simon Nwafor’s work experiences spanned through the media, building, office equipment, consultancy and education. He worked as an Advert. Executive at Tonyphilus (Nig.) Limited; an Advertising Agency, Lagos between 1991 to 1992. He later moved to Evan Folard Limited (Management Consultancy firm) in 1992 as a marketing Executive. He was at Evan Folard Limited till 1993, when he left to join the employment of Atis Aluminum (Nig.) Limited, Lagos as their Marketing Manager. Between 1994 to 1995, he partnered with a friend under a company Data Concept Limited, Lagos which was involved in marketing, selling and distributing of computers and other office equipment.
His entrance into the educational sector came naturally. He was one of the pioneered lecturers at Wolex Polytechnic, Lagos in 1987 where he lectured marketing research, marketing communication, and marketing management as an “Adjunct lecturer”. He later joined the service of the Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria in 1998 as a lecturer. His performances at the Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria prompted the late Registrar and founder, Chief Dr. O. Jonas to transfer him to the University of Port Harcourt, Lagos campus, which at the time was being coordinated by the Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria as Course Coordinator and, at the same time supervises the affairs of other campuses of the institution in Ibadan, Lagos, Warri, and Ilorin respectively.
In 2001, Dr. Sir, Simon Nwafor left the service of the Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria to start up fully with his training and development firm – Centre for Career Management, incorporated in August, 1999 as the Principal Consultant. Between 2001 to 2007, he coordinated the academic programmes of The University of London External Programmes, Preston University, Cheyenne, USA, and The Polytechnic, Ibadan in Lagos, Nigeria.
Between 2009 and 2013, he was an Adjunct lecturer in the faculty of management sciences, University of Education, Weniba-Ghana, Nigeria campus. Dr. Sir, Simon Nwafor came to the Republic of Benin in 2014 to join the faculty of Ecole Superieure De Management (ESM University), Porto Novo as a Lecturer but later promoted to the position of Head, Department of Human Resource Management in 2016. He was also an Adjunct lecturer at the Regional Institute of Industrial Engineering, Biotechnologies and Applied Sciences (IRGIB-AFRICA UNIVERSITY), Cotonou till 2018. In 2014, he joined the faculty of Ecole de Techniciens Superieur Du Benin (Ecotes University), Cotonou as a Senior Lecturer and presently occupying the position of the Dean, faculty of Administration and Management Sciences.

Professor Ashraf Sayed Elkady Egyptian Physicist and Academic Researcher Born in 1967 in Great Cairo, Egypt. Dr. Ashraf Elkady was educated at Ain Shams University, Cairo where he obtained his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Physics & Mathematics in 1992 and 1998 respectively. He obtained his Ph.D. from Moscow State University in 2004 with distinction in two majors: Condensed Matter Physics & Biophysics. He started his scientific career by a professional training provided by the International Atomic Energy Authority (IAEA), during 1995, and worked as an Instructor of physics at both Ain Shams U. (through M.Sc. scholarship) and at the Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority (EAEA), 1994-98 then as an assistant lecturer, 1998-2000. He joined Moscow State University to do his Ph.D. research under the supervision of Professor Academician Alexei R. Khokhlov (Laureate of the highest Russian State Prize) 2000-2004. The Ph.D. research program based on DNA Supramolecular Complexes was multidisciplinary in nature and was fulfilled jointly with Institut Laue-Langevin (ILL) in Grenoble, France and Ulm University, Germany. He worked as a lecturer of Physics directly after obtaining his Ph.D. in 2004. Dr. Elkady is the director of Condensed Matter & Nanosciences Research Unit at EAEA, Egypt since 2005. In 2008, he managed to join the lab. of Prof. Jean-Marie Lehn (Nobel Laureate, 1987) at ISIS, Strasbourg, France as an invited scientist for studying the structural and functional peculiarities of a novel series of DNA-cationic lipids supramolecular complexes intended for gene delivery. He is currently in leave from EAEA and works as a Senior Associate Professor of Physics at King Abdulaziz University (KAU), KSA (internationally ranked). Dr. Elkady contributed chapters to books in nanocarrier technologies, chosen as referee for several articles in peer reviewed physical Journals and shared in about 60 publications. He is actively participating in scientific conferences, workshops, and associations concerning with nanotechnology, nanomedicine and environmental research, e.g. Mem.: Internat. NanoSci. His achievements include introducing the first Egyptian Nanotechnology Initiative (Republic Presidency at 11-09-2005, Ref. # 10157), a Euro-Mediteranean Nanotechnology Initiative (French Presidency Reply Reference SCP/UT/B128681) and an International Nanotechnology Initiative (White house PCAST, 2010). He also developed a novel scanning microscopy that is ideally suited for elucidating the connection between the microscopic and nanoscopic worlds if combined with atomic force or electron microscopy; research in DNA-based nanotechnology; a novel approach for targeted gene therapy; studies on Nucleic Acids condensation phenomenon; synthesizing novel biocompatible nanoparticles for nanomedicine applications; research on magnetoplasmonics; synthesis of nanomaterials for heavy metal absorption; rational design of nanostructured materials intended for Environmental Remediation and International Environmental Safeguards for Emerging Technologies. Dr. Elkady is currently occupied in studying a novel phenomenon that would lead to a new paradigm in the fields of physical sciences and its applications. Mrs. McMillian Siaway prepared and submitted the documentations for Ratification of Seven UNESCO Conventions in the fields of culture and heritage:
Tangible and Intangible heritage, Preventing the illicit import and export of cultural property, Diversity of cultural Expressions, World Heritage and Copyright of UNESCO Culture Conventions documentation were prepared and submitted to the President for onward submission to the Senate for ratification.
She prepared The Liberia “World Heritage initiative, prepared Liberia’s tentative list of Cultural, Mixed and Natural sites as the touristic sites to be considered for placement on the World Heritage list.

The only Vice Chancellor from an Indian University invited to the 7th Global Strategic Review at Geneva, Switzerland by the International Institute of Strategic Studies (IISS) to deliberate on the theme The New Geopolitics. attended the Conference from the 11 to 15th Sept 2009. Dr Anoop Swarup joined discussions along with a veritable array of global experts and distinguished world leaders who included Dr Zbigniew Brzezinski former US National Security Advisor, Prof Francois Heisbourg, Chairman IISS, Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles, K Foreign Secretary’s Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, Lord Robert Skidelsky, Member, House of Lords, UK and Shiv Shankar Menon, Former Foreign Secretary, India as also several ambassadors, economists, military strategists, foreign policy and political experts.
Following the onset of the world’s gravest economic crisis for generations, the questions were of a dramatic character. Will the world move to a more egalitarian political order where the US was less apparently supreme? Would there be lasting geopolitical change as a result of shifts in the financial balance of power? Might the economic crisis and climate change further weaken fragile states and make the challenge of conflict resolution even more daunting? Moving into 2010, many of the agendas and practices established by west in the previous decade and a half appear in retreat even in the face of acts of genocide or equivalent natural tragedies. The link of terrorism with Pakistan is now strategically recognized, and the growing appreciation in Pakistan that the neo-Taliban constitute a direct threat also to Pakistan, may result in genuine intelligence co-operation and action. On the sidelines Dr Swarup had the opportunity to share views with Guo Xiangang, Vice President and Editor-in- chief of China Institute of International Studies on the recent Indo China border incursions and the way forward to a peaceful resolution of the dispute. Others who discussed a variety of issues with Dr Swarup included Najmuddin A Shaikh, Former Pakistan Foreign Secretary, Azhar Ali Shah, Director General, ISSRA, Pakistan, Dr Jeffrey Mazo, Managing Editor, Survival and several others. Tan Sri Dr Abdul Majid, Chairman of Malaysia Airlines and a distinguished Economist expressed a very keen interest in developing a collaborative partnership with Shobhit University.
Dr Swarup joined breakout sessions presentations on Climate Change, Water Security and Geopolitics and on the Economic Crisis and International Order. It was pointed out by him that water may indeed be a source of peace and stability as also a source of friction and societal unrest as more than 250 cubic kilometers of ground water is being sucked out in South Asia that is much more than the recharge rate. As a consequence India particularly the Indogangetic plains and the Ganga Yamuna Doab (in and around Meerut) where the water table has gone down from 3.8 metres to 2.8 metres in just a year’s time is going to face the worst ever water crisis due to acute ground water depletion. It was pointed out by him that for the first time after the green revolution India faces an unprecedented crisis of famine, deprivation and acute shortages in the near future if we do not act fast as we live not only on burrowed water but also on borrowed time. Dr Swarup mentioned that it was indeed unfortunate that in India we still do not incorporate climate change forecasts into our defense planning and the anthropogenic climate changes are not taken into account into the strategic plans even by the Planning Commission. Dr Ronald Filadelfo and Marq de Villiers the author of ‘Water: The Fate of Our Most Precious Resource’ agreed to visit Shobhit University and work on a joint collaborative research projects.
Dr Swarup has earlier served as a Global Environment Outlook Reviewer (GEO), Inter Governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in 2007, an organization that was awarded the Noble Peace Prize and he was also nominated in 2008 by the UN Secretary General Ban Ki -moon as UN Finance Expert to the UNSC (United Nations Security Council).

Prof Dr Kemal Yildirim has got His Undergraduate and Post graduate studies at University of Jyvaskyla in Finland and Phd at University of Azteca and CNU Nicaragua (Dual ) degree in social sciences with a major in comparative politics in 2013 and later on he has continued with his further research on Cultural studies and Anthropology Meanwhile Dr Yildirim has also got Dr. Lit degree from city University in Cambodia in cultural studies in 2017 and specialized in early history and civilizations in Mesopotamia
However, Dr Yildirim has pursued his post Doctoral research at University of Coimbra at Faculty of Human rights in Portugal and specialized on Democracy and political change – and pursued a research and submited his Postdoc thesis on ”Are we no longer a functioning democracy & Are we really a plutocracy ? with An approach on Middle east region ”and later he has attended with his Postdoc research at Buennos Aires University on immigration and conflicts faced by Latin American countries.

Dr. Bikash Sharma is a management professional with over 20 years of experience in the Education, Management, Human Resources and IT Enabled Services domain. Dr. Sharma is currently the President and Founder Trustee of International Academic and Management Association (IAMA) which was established with his efforts in the year 2013. Associate Prof ( Dr. ) Sir Tee Mac Omatshola Iseli
Associate Prof ( Dr. ) Sir Tee Mac Omatshola Iseli (MFR) is a Nigerian flutist with cross-cultural Itsekiri and Swiss roots
Omatshola combined his first degree in economics from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland, with a specialization in classical music concert performance and philharmonic composition of the University of Lausanne. During a rich career spanning over 40 years, Omatshola formed numerous bands, including Tee Mac & Afro Collection in the 1970s.
He recorded his first LP, United, with Polydor International in Germany with his European band Tee Mac United, in the late seventies.[2] Omatshola hit the global music charts with two songs: “Fly Robin Fly”, and “Get Up & Boogie” (owns 50% of the copy right) and toured extensively with his third band, Silver Convention, in the mid seventies
He worked with celebrated Welsh singer Shirley Bassey as her musical arranger and conductor and also worked as a composer for Cidi Croft Enterprise and later for Universal Films in Hollywood, Los Angeles. Even though Omatshola spent a lot of time touring across the globe (Far East, Latin America, Europe, North America and South Africa), he always invested in local Nigerian initiatives, becoming one of the pioneers of the Classical Music Society of Nigeria, which eventually founded the Muson Center, Nigeria’s leading music school.
In 2007 Omatshola was elected president of the Musician Union of Nigeria PMAN, investing time and energy into helping develop the Nigerian entertainment industry. In 2009 he was appointed the Nigerian director of the Motherland Group, (initiated by Michael Jackson’s brother, Marlon, of The Jackson 5) which is getting support from the Lagos State Government to build a historical slave museum in Badagry. In 2011 he was elected chairman of FAMECorp, owned by top Nigerian Musicians and Nollywood stars, to build cinema houses and concert halls all over Nigeria.
Omatshola was awarded the Member of the Federal Republic (MFR)[ national honor by Nigeria’s President Yar’adua in 2009 for his vital role in brokering peace with the Niger Delta militants and fighting for their rehabilitation. In 2011 he received an honorary doctorate degree in Arts from Bradley University in Illinois, where he serves as chairman of the board of trustees, and teaches philharmonic composition as visiting associate professor.
Omatshola invested into solid minerals (he is the chairman of Allied Minerals Ltd., Cass-Cotan Mining and Processing Ltd.) He is chairman of Tee Mac Petroleum (Nig) Ltd., chairman of Tee Mac Productions (owns a recording studio), chairman of the board of the Tee Mac-HEMLA Foundation (to build music schools for the underprivileged youths of Nigeria), chairman of ACC (Anti Counterfeiting Collaboration, an association of Trade Mark owners), chairman of The Entertainment Foundation of Nigeria, umbrella of all the entertainment associations of Nigeria, music and films; director in Hemla-Ogoni Resources Ltd., director in D&H Energy Nig. Ltd. and the West African representative of Daewoo and Hemla (Norway) gas and oil solutions and executive director and shareholder in James Bay Energy Nig. Ltd.

Omatshola has two sons, a daughter and three grandchildren, one of whom is the celebrated Nigerian radio presenter and noted socialite, Sarah Phaedre Watson.

Dr Alicia Margarita Kirchner (born July 18, 1946) is an Argentine Justicialist Party politician. She is the elder sister of the late former President Néstor Kirchner and served in his government as Minister of Social Development, a role which she held under President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, her sister-in-law, until the end of her presidential term on December 9, 2015. On December 10, 2015, she was sworn in as the governor of the Province of Santa Cruz.

Kirchner worked as a teacher and social worker, holding a PhD in social work. From 1975 to 1983 she served as a sub-secretary of social action in her native Santa Cruz Province.[1][2] From 1987 to 1990 she was a minister in the municipality of Río Gallegos, leading on public health, education, culture, social action, recreation and sport. For a few months in 1990, and again between 1991 and 1995 she served as provincial minister for social affairs, under her brother who had been elected governor of Santa Cruz.
She resigned in 1995 to stand for Mayor of Río Gallegos but lost and worked in the Argentine Senate advising on education and family matters, returning to her ministerial position between 1997 and 2003.
In May 2003 Néstor Kirchner became President and appointed his sister to his cabinet in a similar position she had held under him at provincial level.
In December 2005, Kirchner was elected to the Argentine Senate as senator for Santa Cruz Province for the Front for Victory faction, replacing her sister-in-law Cristina Fernández de Kirchner who stood in Buenos Aires Province. From her senate seat in a few months she steered two important social development matters through the Senate and was widely seen as still holding great influence in the ministry. However, in August 2006 she returned to her former position in the cabinet replacing Juan Carlos Nadalich, leaving her senate seat vacant during a leave of absence.
Kirchner was touted as a likely Front for Victory candidate to be governor of Santa Cruz in the 2007 elections, with fellow minister Julio de Vido as the other possible candidate mentioned. President Kirchner’s re-appointment of his sister to his cabinet was seen in some quarters as an initial show of support for her as candidate. Ultimately, however, Kirchner remained a minister following the 2007 elections (and Daniel Peralta became governor of Santa Cruz).
In 2015, Kirchner ran as a FpV gubernatorial candidate again under the “Siempre Santa Cruz” slate with Pablo Gonzalez as running mate, winning the governorship with 51,797 votes, defeating the rival FpV slate “Santa Cruz Somos Todos” and other party candidates.[3] Former president Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner and her son Máximo Kirchner flew from Buenos Aires on December 10, 2015 to attend Alicia Kirchner’s swearing-in ceremony.
Alicia Kirchner also founded La Corriente de Liberación Nacional (KOLINA), a national political activist organization, on July 20, 2010.[5]

Between the years 2002 and 2010, he worked with Ghana Post Company Limited as an Assistant Postal Officer and rose to the position of Deputy Postal Manager in the Volta Region of Ghana. In 2008, Israel enrolled with the Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) and International Professional Managers Association (IPMA) both in the UK and obtained Group Certificate in Business Studies and Postgraduate Diploma in Management respectively in 2009. Between 2009 and 2011, he graduated with separate masters’ degrees; Master of Public Administration and Master of Business Administration from Atlantic International University (Hawaii) and UC Los Angeles, both in the USA respectively.
Dr. Nyarko joined the Faculty of Business and Management Studies, Ho Polytechnic, as a Lecturer in Marketing on October 14, 2010. He also serves as adjunct faculty to a number of institutions including Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (IDL Centre) Ho Ghana; and Evangelical Presbyterian University College, Ghana. He is the Executive Representative of West Coast University of Panama, and Executive Representative of the Chartered World Order of the Knights of Justice of Peace, in Ghana. He was admitted to the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy by the prestigious Universidad San Juan De La Cruz in Costa Rica, Central America in 2014 having completed a 3 year research study and qualified all requisite examinations of the University. This was preceded by a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) Degree conferred on him by the Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership Business School USA in the same year. He has written the qualifying examinations for certification and charter by professional bodies including Chartered Institute of Administrators & Management Consultants, Ghana (as Chartered Management Consultant and Chartered Professional Administrator) and Chartered Institute of Management Consultants, Canada (as Certified Professional Marketer). He is a Fellow, an examiner, and regional coordinator (Ghana) of the Chartered Institute of Management and Leadership USA.
He was honored as Knight Commander (Sir KC) by the Chartered World Order of the Knights of Justice of Peace Inc. USA on 2nd March 2015 for his exceptional contribution in the fields of Management and Christian Religion. He is also a Fellow of the International Chartered World Learned Society, USA. He has authored four standard text books in management, marketing, selling, and organization development and published in a number of prominent international journals. As Founder and President of the Institute, his core duty is to promote GIED’s position as a global professional trainer and consultancy.
